Thank you for sharing this fascinating dialogue, Diane. I love your description of the theatre of the oppressed and really heard one of the crucial messages on a deeper level – “dissent matters.” I also appreciated your discussion of shame, an internalized feeling, in contrast to the defensive reaction to public humiliation that causes people to strengthen their adherence to outdated (harmful) beliefs and behaviors. π
